The closer the departure is, the tighter our grips are…

A lot have been done to get ready for leaving: a Thank-You Banquet held to show gratitude for beloved teachers; a Video of Graduation shot in memory of high school life; an Information List made to ensure everyone will be kept in touch; a long-aspired BBQ Party as a promise before it’s too late. Above all these, this Exclusive Journal is published to serve as one unique reminder of excellent high school life. But, let me make one thing clear—only when you’ve been involved wholeheartedly, only when you’ve treated your fellows sincerely, and only when you’ve lived every single day genuinely will all these mean something.

How I wish your stay here is an inverted sentence. Make your mature senior year be the freshman one so that I wouldn’t have suffered so much because of being green as a teacher; let me get used to you guys at my own pace while you were busy focusing on the sophomore year; have the last year be like your naïve first year in order that I could say goodbye merrily without hesitating. Over the years, you’ve made much progress by struggling amid tears, conflicts, and arguments. You’ve also moved people overwhelmingly with adjustment, compromise, and integrity. So, given that I was offered the power to reverse what’ve already happened, I’d rather keep every detail untrimmed for it was actually too wonderful to be sacrificed. And, though not an inverted sentence as I have wished, memories preserved for you and me are perfect present progressive that will never end.

Let’s take off at the climax point, and then the brilliance on your smiles will never fade away…
